Not really. I have been a Basic Sciences student all along.
The only Engineering exposure that I have had is during one of my internships at The Indian Railways Manufacturing Facility long ago during my undergraduate days.
In a way yes, I worked for a time as an engineering geologist, which meant that I worked as a part of a team looking at a type of engineering called Geotechnics – where you have to design a preparation for the ground to correct any geological issues before construction starts or when building a tunnel or a road. So it is a very specific kind of engineering – ground engineering.
