As a kid I used to climb mango trees often, when I used to visit my nan’s place in a village. Also I love mangoes. So based on my fond childhood memories I would say mango trees are my favourite. Mango trees are deciduous trees (sheds leaves in autumn). I find deciduous trees poetic since they remind us of the ups and downs of life, the cycle of life, and re-emergence of happiness/ success/life after a period of sadness/ failure/loss.
If I really had to choose I would probably say plane trees (or platanus). But I also love olive trees – I’m currently growing one, it’s 1,5 years old. I never liked pine trees though!

I have a really nice Red Robin tree in my back garden. It has red leaves and pretty flowers.
