• Question: How do you know what dinosaurs sound like. We had no videos of back then so how do we know ??

      I actually have no idea what dinosaurs used to sound like! But if there are scientists looking into it I would think they might be looking at the structure of their throats and mouths in the way they appear in fossils.

      In addition to what Anastasia has said, I think that we also look at the dinosaurs’ closest modern relatives. Believe it or not, dinosaurs are very closely linked to modern day birds, as well as reptiles. Some scientists used the sounds made by close relatives of the T-Rex to recreate what they think it sounded like. There’s a very interesting article on it here:

      Scientists can estimate what they sounded like by looking at the size and shape of the cavities in the skull.
