• Question: Why do frogs live under water when their growing and when their grown up they live out of water?

      Its part of being an amphibian its how they have always lived!

      Developing a body that can swim is easier than one that can move on land. So growing up in the water is probably a good way for tadpoles to spend less time in the egg.

      It is better for the tadpoles to be moving around rather than staying in the egg because they have a better chance to escape getting eaten if they can move.
