Americium Zone

Americium is a chemical element with the chemical symbol Am. It doesn’t exist in nature and is a transuranic element, which means it is man made. Amercium is commonly used in smoke detectors and doesn’t have many other uses, but some scientists think it could be used in spacecraft batteries in the future.

This is a general science zone, where you will meet six scientists all working in different areas.
