Difficult question! In my opinion it would be maths. You use maths for everything without thinking about it e.g. if you bake or if you want to work out how many minutes it will take you to get from school to the shop. (As much as I hate it!)

I’d say science has a huge impact on everyone for most of the day through energy and electricity. You are using it from the moment you wake up and switch on a light in your heated home, to when you make your toast, to when you check your phone or sit in a classroom with lights and look at a projected image from your teacher’s laptop.

Can you think of an activity you do in your day that doesn’t involve energy or electricity?

Possibly gravity? It’s pretty fundamental to every day life! Without it you wouldn’t just float off into the air – none of us would be here at all.

If you mean the other question, then the sun (or lights) would be high on the list!
