I became a scientist because I am curious about how things work and I want to figure them out. I especially like working with computers because you can put your knowledge into the computer and other people can use it.

My goal is to create computer models that can help doctors to treat people who are sick. For example if I can get a computer to show how electricity is moving in the heart a doctor can use this to see if a patient might get a heart rhythm problem. I also enjoy showing other people about medicine and medical technology. That is why if I win the prize I will take a classroom of students to visit the Florence Nightingale. Florence Nightingale was a famous Nurse who made medicine a lot better, she introduced things to hospitals that are obvious today like washing your hands. This saved a lot of lives.

I became a scientist because I am passionate about climate change and global warming and how it is affecting the earth. Later on in life i would love to be able to teach people about everything that I am learning now.
