• Question: being a scientist does it give you good pay

      In all honesty, it depends what type of job you do, at what level and where. So industry (the private sector) tend to pay very well yes! But if you go into, for example, academia (Schools and University) the pay is a little bit less but yes generally if you go into science it will pay you well! Obviously as well a professor in a science will earn more than a technician but its a balance between work, pay and life outside work! 🙂

      The best way to make money as a scientist is to discover something that people need, like a drug that cures a disease. Drug companies are some of the richest in the world!

      Money is not enough of a reason to do science though. You have to like what you are doing, because it takes a lot of hard work to be a scientist.
