• Question: could you, artificially, create diamonds?

      Yes, you can, but it requires a very large piece of equipment, very high temperatures and pressures. This costs a lot of money, possibly more than getting one from the ground. Also, the quality of the diamonds is not as good as those naturally occurring, and they are much smaller, so you wouldn’t want them on a ring! Many ‘diamond sharp blades’ or similar really do have diamonds in them, but these are man-made.
