iPads doesn’t have a superconductors inside but..
Lets dream that it has got it. If most of elements at ipads circuit was created from superconducting materials, there will be definitely less need for battery charging. Maybe few times more hours without charging? One of main proprieties of superconductors is they have no resistance so no energy looses.
So you may ask why there aren’t there, already? Materials became superconducting below certain temperature (specific for each material) and most of superconductors are far below room temperature (so to make them superconducting you need to used liquid helium or nitrogen – won’t fit at the iPad). Even same scientist claim they got superconductors in room temperature, first thing that’s not confirmed yet, another case is materials also need to have another proprieties to be good enough to use at circuits.
But superconductors might be used (and they are already) in many other areas: for energy network – power cables, for levitating magnetic trains (very very fast), for medical diagnosis (devices from superconductor are good for detecting even tiny magnetic field- so great for brain activity mapping). And I’m sure when we get to know more about them and can make them better, new technology uses will appear:)
