Question: how many microscopic animals are there?

Loads!! Micro-organisms can live just about anywhere in the world, from hot springs to hundreds of metres below the ice in the Antarctica. Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact figure for the number of species of micro-organisms, because new species are being found every day!
