• Question: what do humans have in common to animals

      Well, humans are animals so I’d say we have everything in common. All animals (including humans) have the same evolutionary origin, but they have evolved in different directions. Animals are very diverse. The simplest animals are sponges, which cannot even feel (they have no nervous system at all). However, if we think about other mammals, that are our closest relatives, we have many things in common. Our body works in a similar way (our brain, sight, lungs, heart…), we also have fur and we have babies and breast feed them as other mammals do. Some of them are also very intelligent and have complex languages too.

      We are animals, so, everything, except written language…
      Even technology is not unique to us, because primates, monkeys, otters and even octopuses use tools to facilitate their daily life 😉
