      My job is a bit of an odd combination of physics and technical support. We have users from all fields of science coming to use the facility who have published over 10,000 papers on their results. But my job is make sure the accelerator is working properly so that the users can do their research. That means I don’t really do much cutting-edge research or have key findings to publish, I’m mainly supporting a big pile of other scientists get their work done.
