It depends on the fish, different fish swim in different ways! Most fish swim by sort of wriggling their bodies in the shape of an S and then they have a big fin on their tale that pushes them forward as they wriggle. However, some fish have little fins where their arms would be that they flap to swim instead. Other fish have evolved special types of fins on their fronts that act almost legs so they can walk across the bottom of the sea!
