  Great question! All the studies that are conducted now, have to go through an ethics committee. They will make sure that anything participants will have to do will not put them in danger or harm them in anyway. This makes sure all research conducted follows the BPS guidelines, which will be used as a guide. Such procedures, stop research like Milgrim and Zimbardo being reproduced, which wasn’t ethically sound.
