Question: why do you think its important to spread the knowledge of bacteria

As a microbiologist geek i love anything to do with microbiology particularly bacteria so i think everyone should learn about it.

Understanding and learning about bacteria is important for many reasons. many illness are caused by ‘bad’ bacteria which can can cause stomach aches and food poisoning.there is also the very bad bacteria which can cause death. normally bacteria can be treated by antibiotics however we are living in a era where there is a high increase of antibiotic resistant bacteria meaning they are becoming more harder to treat. by increasing our knowledge and understanding of bacteria we can stop overusing antibiotics and try to find other sources to combat.

there is also the good bacteria which can help us such as those found in some yogurts. these can be good and help improve our digestive system. so knowing about bacteria can help us with this.
