Question: how will your project benefit us?

Although i have not finished planning my project, i am hoping that i will be able to gain access to equipment such as a microscope adaptor that i can bring into schools. this will allow me to connect a microscope to a laptop or projector and show some pre-prepared slides containing different bacteria. I am also planning on age appropriate experiments such as designing a simple experiment to show how fast bacteria can travel from person to person if not washing hands. i could also follow this up by demonstrating hand washing technique using a special hand gel that glows under a UV light.
i feel that students would benefit from a hands on learning approach and gain an insight into microbiology.
I would also like to provide talks on topics such good and bad bacteria, antibiotic resistant bacteria and even what different types of jobs microbiologists can do.
This could be aided by my plan on interviewing various different scientists and putting videos on youtube or social media for everyone to see.
