      Great question.

      The main thing is that the world is getting warmer! When sea ice gets warmed up, it can get a lot weaker and also a lot less white. This means that the ice melts and breaks up more easily which could be bad news.

      My research will help us understand how the sea ice might behave when the world gets warmer. It will hopefully help other scientists try and work out how to stop it happening in the long run!
