• Question: I read that you electrocute water, but I never understood how you could do that if water isn't a good conductor?

      Well, we kind of cheat.

For a liquid to be a good conductor of electricity, it has to have dissolved salts on it. Then, salt will conduct water.

So what I do, I add different salts in the water I use to do my experiments, which I know they are not going to react in the conditions I work. Then, water can conduct electricity and I can measure it!
