No, definitely not. I was always ok at science in school, but then in Year 9 I didn’t do very well and so actually got moved to a different class in Year 10.
It really sucked as all my friends were in the other class but it was actually a really good thing. My Year 10 teacher was awesome, she made science fun! Soon I really began to enjoy science, and when that happened I started doing a lot better. In the end it became one of my best subjects, but it took a lot of work to get there!
