Great question Antarpreet! My work can consist of what I want it to really……if I want to do lots of experiments I can, and if I want to do other things I can. This week I will probably spend about 3.5 days doing experiments, some weeks I dont do any, and other weeks I spend 5 days in the lab experimenting. Its pretty flexiable and I like that a lot.

      Hi antapreet,

I’m actually doing a lot of experiments at the moment, so I’m in the lab most of the time! Sometimes though, I have to spend a while looking at the results from my experiments and working out what they mean which can take a long time. Once I have my results, I then have to write about them and finally present them to other scientists at conferences around the world.

There are lots of aspects of being a scientist which makes it an exciting job!
