Great question Violet09! Sea creatures have different body compositions to us, who live on earth. We have lungs and breathe in gas – this is a problem when we go to high pressures as the gas in our lungs, bodies, and blood are compressed. sea creatures bodys are made mainly of water, and are almost all solid and liquid – this means the pressure does not effect them in the same way as solids and liquids are not compressable under pressure in the way that gasses are.
