      The variety, I can follow an idea until I’ve exhausted it, learn new mathematics or computing techniques or languages. I control my day pretty much and I get to work with really nice people.

      I agree with Michael and Andrew. One of the best things about being a scientist is being able to plan out your own working day and no two days in the lab are ever the same! 🙂

      I agree with everyone else. I love that my job requires so many different skills- reading, writing, public speaking, conducting experiments- which all have elements of creativity built in. I’m always being challenged, and no two days are alike!
