      Andrew French answered on 24 Jun 2014:

      I like technology, and programming computers, and I like working with other scientists too. It’s the best of all worlds for me, as I get to work with technology and take part in more traditional science projects too.

      Its also really exciting seeing what computers are capable of, as that changes each year. And being able to develop programs to make them do novel things is an interesting challenge.
