• Question: What are 'floaters', how are they caused and why do we get them?

      They are small imperfections in the jelly inside the eye, they are most easily seen when you look at a light plain background. They are usually harmless, but if you suddenly see a lot more than usual you should go to see your optometrist of doctor.

      Me too, Michael is the best person to answer this one! People tend to get floaters as they get older. I’ve got one in my left eye but I hardly ever notice it! 🙂
