Question: So, you use stem cells to repair damaged blood vessels in the eyes? Cool! So my question is, have you ever worked on the eyes of an animal? Like a dog or cat or.. a lion! :3 Thanks, Carris :)

  Hey Carris!
  Thank you! I think it’s pretty cool too! 🙂 I’ve only ever worked on rat and mouse eyes, although I dissected a cow’s eye once! A lion’s eye would be huge compared to the ones I’m used to working with so I think I would need much larger scissors and forceps! Because rodent eyes are so tiny I have to use really small surgical instruments and do my dissections under a microscope, which took a wee bit of getting used to! 🙂
