  Hi there!
  Thankfully not! Safety is really important in the lab, especially when you work with human cells and sharp needles! I always make sure I’m very careful! When I was a student, my friend, Big Dave, managed to slice the top of his thumb off with a scalpel blade because he was too busy chatting in the lab and I had to drive him to hospital to get it sewn back on! It was pretty yukky! 🙂
