I don’t do any animal work, I’ve done work with human tissue collected from people who have donated their body to medical research

I exfoliate the skin of my subjects (humans are animals too!), but that generally doesn’t hurt.

In the past I’ve done research on the nervous sytem of rats, but we were held to very strict ethical guidelines on how we were allowed to treat the animals. Scientists who do research on animals typically don’t want to ‘hurt’ the animals in any way!

      Hi there!
I work with mice and rats but like Nancy says, we don’t “hurt” them and the welfare of the animals is always my number one priority. I spend a lot of time looking after my animals to make sure they are happy and healthy. Our little furry friends help us to learn more about diseases in humans and animals and allow us to develop treatments. 🙂
