• Question: can you charge your phone with a potatoe?

      I’ve actually heard of this before but I don’t know if it really works! I wish it did because my iPhone charger is rubbish! Mind you, it would probably take a whole sack of potatoes to charge up my phone! Seriously though, you could probably get some sort of charge by sticking a bit of copper and zinc into a potato but I don’t think there would be enough power to charge a phone! 🙂

      I’ve seen clocks powered by potatoes so it must be possible to get a charge from them, but I agree with Emma, even if it was possible the charge would be so small it would take forever!
