      The type of bacteria i work on are found everywhere! (soil, surfaces, water, plants..). The bacteria that have become disease-causing are found in patients with reduced immune systems (HIV, burns patients, hospitalised patients, Cystic fibrosis patients). For CF patients, the bacteria are found in the lungs (living in the mucus).
