  I’ve always been fascinated with dinosaurs and rocks and volcanoes since I was little so it was inevitable I would be a geologist really. I did think that I wanted to be a doctor for a while when I was 17, but I failed A-level chemistry so that was out of the question!
  But when I finish my PhD people will have to call me Dr any way, so it all worked out pretty well in the end.
  I love my job now, and wouldn’t change it for the world! 😀
