Question: if you took fossils to school, which school would you go to and why?

I would take them to any school that was interested, probably mainly schools that are in and around yorkshire as I don’t get paid for travel costs, and probably primary schools at first, but we get a lot of secondary schools visiting the uni so if I won the money I would talk to the teachers about how to make it more relevant and interesting for years 7 and up, then I’d go anywhere that would take me!

I haven’t ruled out doing some scientific “busking” as well and setting up tables of fossils and rocks in town centres and chatting to people that walk past about geology.

To tell the truth I’ll talk rocks and dinosaurs with anyone!
