• Question: why you like being out door

      Because the natural world is so fascinating and beautiful. I like seeing interesting birds (in my local woods there are loads that never venture out into the residential areas like black caps, goldcrests, long-tailed tits and buzzards) and I love the feeling of climbing up a mountain. It’s so spectacular! I went up a mountain in Wales called Snowdon this year. Here’s a picture of the view from the summit (top).

      The sun. I love the sun, maybe more than most people because up here in Scotland we don’t see it that often. One of the things that I find most amazing in the whole world is that it’s warmer in the sun than in the shade because you can feel the heat coming off a fireball 150 million kilometres away. It’s like the best bonfire ever! (I also like bonfires, and you’re not allowed to have them indoors)
