• Question: Why would you clone a sheep?

      I guess they were bored, and they wanted to see if they could? If you come to Edinburgh, you can see here at the National Museum of Scotland. I’m afraid she’s stuffed now, though.

      It is to show you can do it. In science animals are used to test on to see if something works. if it is successful they it is possible to apply it to humans. So in this case cloning a sheep which is a mammal has provided tools and methods to clone other mammals such as mice, rats and other small animals
