• Question: Is the stuff they talk about in 'The Big Bang Theory' like string theory, actually anything to do with real science?

      It is. They have a few scientists that they ask questions, just like you guys have us, so that the people who write it can make sure that they’ve got things right. Some of the stuff that the guys discover is just nonsense, though, like the superconducting gyroscopes or whatever it was that could be used for navigation.

      yes it pretty accurate. They have scientific writers to help the writers with their scripts. also Sci fi films have helped drive innovation and technology. for example the back to the future films in the 80s had some things props and ideas that didn’t seem possible or had even been invented.
