Question: how would you know that the world is ending

That depends on how it ends. If we get hit by an asteroid, probably someone will see it coming towards us, and it’ll be on the news. If the sun explodes, probably solar scientists will realise that that’s about to happen when they’re looking at the sun, and it’ll be on the news. If it’s global warming and the rising sea levels, climate scientists will probably notice, and it’ll be on the news. If it’s a zombie apocalypse, probably people in morgues and hospitals will notice the dead coming back to life, and it’ll be on the news. I guess it doesn’t depend on how it ends, because it’ll be on the news.
