Anything new is noteworthy! So when scientists find out things, they write about them and get other scientists to proof-read their writing. If the other scientists are happy that the experiments were done well and that they haven’t made anything up (which is extremely bad!) then the writing will get put in something called an article. Lots of articles go in a ‘journal’, which is sort of like a newspaper for science. So, just like there are lots of different newspapers, there are lots of different journals, depending on the topic (biology, chemistry, engineering, psychology etc).

Here’s a link to an article I helped to create, by doing the experiments, with some science friends!

We found out about some chemicals which like to stick to toxic chemicals, which could be useful in terms of cleaning them up.

Not really, no. I’ve not been doing this for very long, so I’m still working out how to do quite common things. I’ll let you know if I do manage to do anything notable.
