Question: Why did you want to be a scientist, are you famous

I wanted to be a scientist because really I just love learning new things. When I started out I thought it’d be so cool to build your whole career around one particular area and maybe even be a world expert in it.

I still want to be a scientist because you’re always learning new things. Whether its reading about all the amazing stuff other people have been doing, or mastering a new experiment in the lab, you’re always challenging yourself to learn more and it honestly feels so amazing when you get something to work after weeks (maybe months!) of hard work. I don’t really want to be “famous”, but it’ll be nice one day for other people to hear about some of the things I do and think “yeah, that’s really cool stuff he’s been doing!”.
