• Question: what are the ingredents in paint?

      There are so many paints out there but there are 4 main ingredients which are used, these are;

      1: Binder – this is used to keep the paint together and give it shine when wanted
      2: Dilutent – A bit like adding more milk to your porridge, the more dilutent which is added the runnier the paint will be, this is good if you don’t want it to be too thick.
      3: Pigment – This is used to give the paint colour.
      4: Additives – These are extras which can be added if there is a special use for the paint. Paint used in a bathroom needs to stop mould and paint used outside would need to be waterproof.
