• Question: Is it interesting looking at the things you look at?

      Hi Loren,

      Yes! It is really interesting to look at neurons, both in a dish and inside a mouse’s brain. Because I might see something that nobody has seen before! 🙂

      It’s also really exciting to look at how neurons work down the microscope – rather than in a textbook, which I have done for the majority of my life. It makes you realise how many things are going on inside your own body that you didn’t know were happening, chemical reactions, tiny movements, squeezing, pulling, electrical signals! All kinds of things, there’s a world of wonder out there that can only be seen with a microscope.
