      This is a really cool question because babies actually have more bones than adults do! Babies start out with about 300 bones and adults have about 206. This happens because as we get older, our bones fuse and stick together to form bigger bones, which reduces the total amount. Depending on how old you are, your bones may still be fusing! Usually bones stop sticking together at about age 13/14.
