• Question: how can you tell if meator is coming

      I was talking to some friends about this yesterday and apparently if the asteroid is coming straight towards us – it’s very difficult to tell! It would appear to be in the same place in the sky (growing bigger as it gets closer), but might be too hard to detect until it’s too late. NASA and other scientists use really strong telescopes to search for moving asteroids in space and work out if they’re moving towards us.
