Question: Have you found anything that people thought was just a myth or have never heard of it?

  Unfortunately I don’t work on anything as amazing as being close to mystical or mythical.
  
  However most of what I do, other scientists have never heard of it exactly, because my project is so specific.
  
  I am probably the only person in world who knows about all the details of my particular area, which is exploring the role of one protein in bone development, ageing, and disease. Because no one else has done the same work, there isn’t much debate, so no myths have formed.
  
  Hopefully when I finish this work, I will publish a scientific article, and then people will know about it. That will be my small contribution furthering knowledge.
