  This is a tricky one!
  They would have to use a lot of coke and mentos, so they would also need a very big bottle!
  The weight of the bottle, coke and mentos might be too heavy and there is a chance that all the coke/mentos would have reacted before the bottle reached the atmosphere so there would be no fuel to propel it to leave the atmosphere!
