The strangest thing that I’ve seen ever? That’s a difficult question, because I have seen many strange things – and different things strange for different reasons.

I guess if I had to choose one strange thing in science, that I’ve seen with my own eyes is when I once dropped a petri dish in a ’tissue culture air cabinet’ where we manipulate our cells without getting them contaminated with dirty air. The petri dish fell face down, wobbling, and because of the constant flow of air, didn’t stop wobbling for a long time. I was really blown away. I let it wobble for about 15 minutes non-stop, and it didn’t slow down! For a moment there I though I discovered the secret to perpetual motion!
