• Question: Why did you sign up to "I am a scientist, get me out of here"?

      Good Question Martin! I signed up because I really enjoy talking about science, and I would like to encourage people like yourself to be fascinated by science! So far the questions have been great, some really challenging ones.

      It sounded like a really great thing to be involved in. I’ve done work promoting science in schools before, but never in an online environment. The idea of being bombarded with questions appealed to me, as did the format of the competition.

      But the main thing is that it’s great to have the opportunity to answer science questions and try and pass on some of the passion that I have for knowledge.

      I signed up because I had never done an outreach project before. I have always wanted an opportunity to engage with young students and I thought that this would be a good place to start!
