      Heya,

For me its definitely about awareness. I think if more young people were aware of what drugs can do to them and effect their lives they could make a more informed choice. We work very closely with healthcare professionals to help them understand what these drugs can do. I think lack of understanding of what drugs can do (especially the negative effects) is what makes them so dangerous. But of course the police force is an important part of our work, they need to know what is going on out there for their safely and for the general public.

I love doing experiments, I have never been the type of personal that can sit at a desk. I love the challenge of doing something different every day, you never know what you might find out. It is really exciting to think that some day what you do and what you find out may never have been seen by another person before! Makes it feel like you could really make a difference in the world.

      Katy
