      The SCUBA lung, this was invented by Jacques-Yves Cousteau, and means we can now go diving and spend longer looking at the corals and fish in the ocean. We can go deeper and stay there for longer!

      Understanding and harnessing electricity have significantly changed our lives, so perhaps the electric motor. The dynamo (basically a motor in reverse) is the process behind all the electricity generated in power stations, whether oil, coal, gar or nuclear.

      The mobile phone. Think about it! You want to know something? Type it in, and the signal will bounce of a satellite in the sky and give you back the information you require! Anything at all! All of this technology, which is more processing power than they used to put men on the moon, and it’s in your pocket! In. Your. Pocket. Insane.
