      Hi, thanks for your question. I have only just started my research so I haven’t had any major breakthroughs yet! But I have found that different types of cells respond differently when exposed to different types of fatty acids. Some of the cells die more quickly and others die more slowly. I will spend the rest of the year trying to figure out why we see those differences. When I have done that I will tackle the question ‘how do fatty acids get inside cells’ and see if this process is related to the toxic responses we see.
