Hey Freddie! It was good talking to you earlier! I’d say a balanced diet would be essential for playing football, so plenty of protein to help muscle growth, carbs for energy and vitamins and minerals too, so plenty of fruit and veg! Less of fatty foods and sugars, but you still need some of those. Don’t eat straight before a game or you’ll be sluggish, maybe a banana or something. I’ll ask my cousin, he plays for Middlesborough!
